PRODUCT NOTES:
- GranQuartz 314P is a no-nonsense, high performance, traditional solvent-based impregnator (sealer) with absolutely outstanding water repellent capability, and unusually good oil repellency for a silicone formulation.
- GranQuartz 314P IS A TRUE SOLVENT-BASED, PROFESSIONAL STRENGTH PRODUCT AND MUST BE HANDLED ACCORDING TO DIRECTIONS.
- We strongly recommend this product for use in areas that come into frequent contact with water such as showers, all exterior stone work, and flooring that is subjected to heavy routine cleaning.
- For architectural specifications, GranQuartz 314P may be substituted for Lithofin MN Stain-Stop.

GranQuartz 314P Premium Impregnator is an ultra-high performance silicone (alkoxysilane) impregnator (sealer) suitable and recommended for use on all natural stones, regardless of finish
type. 314P is recommended for both interior and exterior applications, and provides maximum
protection from water penetration and water-borne stains. Oil stain protection is also very good (the best we've seen for a silicone impregnator), outperforming some recent fluorochemical products.
NOTE: Laboratory tests have shown that alkoxysilane can help stop intercapillary water transfer in marble. This is important to the serviceability and longevity of the stone. It has also been proven to act as a consolidating agent, further improving durability.
314P allows the stone to breathe naturally, cures quickly, and offers a
totally natural appearance.
Directions for Using GranQuartz 314P
- Clean surface with GranQuartz Stone Care Systems 515C or Lithofin MN Power-Clean.
- Allow surface to dry completely (normally 24 hrs.) before impregnation
treatment.
- Protect all solvent sensitive surfaces adjoining the work area.
- Use protective gloves and eyeware, and ensure good ventilation. A respirator may be necessary for enclosed areas.
- Ensure there are no sparks or open flames in the vicinity of the work area.
- Apply 314P undiluted directly to small, manageable areas using an applicator, brush or roller.
- Allow 10 to 15 minutes for impregnator to penetrate the surface. Do not
allow product to dry, re-wet where needed.
- Apply a second application, wet on wet.
- Allow 5 minutes for penetration of the second application.
- Completely remove all excess product using a squeegee or towel. No product
should remain on the completed surface.
- Surface may be opened to light traffic in 4 hours, keep surface dry and oil-free for at least 24 hours.
- Full cure is reached in 48 hours.
- Allow to dry for 48 hours before covering or beginning additional maintenance activities.
Test in a small area prior general application to determine application
amounts and appearance.
