PRODUCT NOTES:
- GranQuartz 433P is an impregnator (sealer) designed to stop dirt retention in porcelain tiles and grout.
- For architectural specifications, 433P may be substituted for Lithofin FZ Stain Stop <W>.
- Tiles and grout lines must be cleaned with GranQuartz 631C prior to sealing with 433P.
- GranQuartz 135M or Lithofin FZ Cleanser should be used for the routine cleaning of porcelain flooring treated with GranQuartz 433P.
- This product has no impact on the slip resistance of flooring surfaces.
- 1 Liter coverage is 450 to 750 square feet, depending on surface porosity.
Porcelain floor tiles can be some of the toughest surfaces to keep looking their best. While they are not susceptible to deep stain penetration, acid etching, or scratching from routine contact like natural stones, they do provide one significant maintenance challenge - dirt retention. Whether polished or unpolished, many porcelain materials have ultra fine pores that allow dirt, grease, oil, and cleaning solution residue to accumulate just below the surface, making them extremely difficult clean. If your porcelain tiles exhibit any of the following symptoms, you will need to deep clean them with GranQuartz 631C and seal (impregnate) the surface with 433P: - Dirty areas that you cannot get clean using routine methods, no matter how hard you scrub.
- Areas that will not stay clean - you get the tiles clean, but they quickly start to retain dirt.
- Visible dulling or "greying" of tile surfaces - tiles are darker in color than when first installed.
GranQuartz 433P Porcelain Floor Impregnator provides the highest quality dirt retention protection available
for porcelain tile and grout. It is specifically formulated to penetrate and seal high density porcelains, and is suitable for all porcelain finish types. 433P effectively seals the ultra fine pores in all porcelain surfaces, and blocks dirt, oil, grease, and grime from becoming embedded in the surface.
433P is strong enough for commercial use in food service areas, lobbies, and restrooms, yet is both safe and effective for home use.Routine cleaning of porcelain floors sealed with GranQuartz 433P should be performed using GranQuartz 135M Porcelain Floor Cleaner or Lithofin FZ Cleanser (an excellent choice!)
Directions for Using GranQuartz 433P Porcelain Floor Impregnator
- Clean surface with GranQuartz Stone Care Systems 631C.
- Allow surface to dry completely (at least 2 hours) before impregnation
treatment.
- Protect all sensitive surfaces adjoining the work area.
- Apply
a thin and even coat of 433P undiluted directly to tiles and grout
lines using a lambs wool applicator, brush, or roller. Distribute
evenly. Work in a manageable area.
- Allow 5 minutes for maximum penetration. Do not allow impregnator to dry on
surface.
- Completely remove all excess product from surface using a squeegee or towel.
No product should remain on the surface.
- Repeat the procedure
(steps 2-6) until the entire surface is completed.
Floor may be opened for light foot traffic after 4 hours. Keep floor water and oil free for at least 24 hours; full cure is achieved after 48 hours.GranQuartz 135M or Lithofin FZ Cleanser should be used for cleaning of porcelain floors sealed with 433P.
