GranQuartz 631C Heavy Duty Porcelain, Ceramic, & Grout Cleaner is a high intensity, restoration-grade cleaner for use on porcelain and unglazed ceramic tile and is excellent as a grout cleaner. 631C provides industrial / institutional grade cleaning power that makes short work of oily, greasy, embedded dirt on tile surfaces and grout lines. GranQuartz 631C is highly effective in removing embedded soiling from porcelain tiles with dirt retention problems.

Unlike conventional acid-based tile and grout cleaners, 631C will not change or fade colored grout, and will not damage even the most sensitive porcelain surfaces when used as directed.

GranQuartz 631C provides the professional-grade power you need for tile and grout restorative cleaning, post-construction clean up, the removal of wax coatings, to clean oil and grease spills, and to restore tiles that have darkened with time due to ground in dirt and grime.

Porcelain tiles and grout lines that experience dirt retention problems should be sealed (impregnated) with GranQuartz 433P Porcelain Floor Impregnator.

Directions for Using GranQuartz 631C

1. Sweep or vacuum to remove any loose dirt or dust from surface
   
2. Mix 631C with clean water. See dilution rates below
3. Wet surface with clean water prior to applying 631C solution - DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP
   
4. Apply diluted solution with a sprayer or mop
5. Scrub tile surfaces with a buffing pad or non-abrasive stiff bristle brush
6. Scrub grout lines thoroughly with a grout brush
   
7. Allow solution to dwell on the surface for 10 to 30 minutes making sure that SOLUTION DOES NOT DRY ON SURFACE. RE-WET AS NEEDED. Dirtier surfaces will require a longer dwell time
   
8. After adequate dwell time, vacuum solution, flood rinse and vacuum again
9. Continue to rinse until all solution has been removed

Test in a small area prior general application to determine application amounts and appearance.

Dilution Rates

• Periodic or food service area cleaning: 1 part 631C to 5 parts of clean water.
• Retained dirt in porcelain tiles: 1 part 631C to 3 parts of clean water
  
• Construction clean up: 1 part 631C to 2 parts of clean water.
• Old grout and heavy wax coatings: 1 part 631C to 1 part of clean water
