THIS PRODUCT IS FOR USE ON UNPOLISHED STONE AND MASONRY ONLY NOT FOR USE ON GRANITE VOC COMPLIANT & LEGAL FOR USE IN ALL 50 STATES
"Porous Pro" provides state of the art protection for all unpolished stone, masonry, and grout. It is formulated with more impregnating solids to ensure maximum protection against water and oil-based stains that are particularly troublesome on porous surfaces that rapidly absorb spills of any kind.
Porous Pro penetrates porous surfaces deeply to provide unsurpassed protection
against water and oil staining. It is gas permiable, allowing your
stones or masonry to properly "breathe" so that harmful moisture and by-products
are not trapped below the surface. It is non-yellowing and does not
change the surface appearance of your stone, masonry, or grout. We
always recommend a solvent-based impregnator on natural stones
because solvents penetrate dense surfaces better than water
carriers and deliver the impregnating solids (the part that actually
protects your stone) deeper into the surface.
To keep your unpolished travertine, limestone, marble, or slate looking its best and to protect the surface between sealings, we
recommend Stone Pro Crystal Clean. For restoration-level cleaning of your unpolished stone or masonry prior to sealing with Porous Pro, use Stone Pro Deep Clean Gel.
Coverage: Porous Pro will cover approximately 250 ft. per quart dependant on the porosity of the stone. Two coats are recommended on new installations. Cure time: 2 hrs. for water repellancy, 4 hrs for oil repellancy and full cure.
Directions: Always test the product in an inconspicuous area to ensure suitability for intended use. Surface must be sound, thoroughly dry, and free from dirt, waxes, and old sealants or coatings of any kind. To remove topical sealers or waxes, use Stone Pro Formula 51 stripper before applying Porus Pro. To remove heavy dirt or grime, use Stone Pro Deep Cleaning Gel. Apply a thin, even coat of Porous Pro using a solvent-resistant applicator or low-pressure sprayer and allow impregnator to remain on the surface for 7-10 minutes. If surface becomes dry during wait time, evenly apply a second thin coat. Do not dilute. After 7-10 minutes has elapsed, wipe ALL remaining Porous Pro from the surface with a clean MicroFiber or white cotton cloth. DO NOT ALLOW POROUS PRO TO DRY ON THE SURFACE OF THE STONE - REMOVE ALL STANDING RESIDUE!
