Stone Pro Crystal Clean is a highly concentrated, neutral cleaner and protector for marble, granite, travertine, limestone, slate, all other natural stone, ceramic tile, porcelain tile, and grout. This is the single-most important product you can use to keep your stone and tile surfaces in top condition, and should be the cornerstone of your routine cleaning practices.Crystal Clean is strong enough for commercial use, yet safe for the
home. Its powerful cleaning agents are highly effective on dirt and
grime, and it leaves an invisible, streak-free protective shield against
soil and staining. Crystal Clean does not contain acids or alkalines that can damage your stone, or chelates that can leave your surfaces looking dull and lifeless. It is a perfect 7 pH neutral cleaner that will not damage or change the appearance of your surfaces, even with daily use. Crystal Clean contains two evaporating agents that make it dry three times faster than plain water or other stone cleaners. When used with the damp mopping technique, Crystal Clean will drastically reduce water induced fill loss and spalling in travertine, limestone, and marble, and microbial growth in pits and grout lines. Crystal Clean contains a small amount ofthe same fluoropolymer impregnator found in the Stone Pro family of sealers. Every time you use Crystal Clean on your stone or tile surfaces, you are strengthening their ability to resist water penetration and staining from both water and oil-based substances, and retarding the growth of mold and bacteria that cause discoloration in surface pits and grout lines.
Crystal Clean is both highly concentrated and economical to use. One gallon creates up to 16 gallons of cleaning solution that can be used on all your natural stone and tile surfaces. At normal concentration levels, this is enough product to clean 500 square feet of stone or tile, once a week, for four months.
If you have the need to clean travertine, clean marble, clean granite, clean limestone, or clean tile, Stone Pro Crystal Clean is your best choice!
For Use on Floors and Larger Surface Areas
Dilute Crystal Clean Per the following instructions:
Light / Medium Soiling - 1 Part Crystal Clean to 16 Parts Water (1 Cup to 1 Gallon) Medium Soiling or Polished Surfaces - 1 Part Crystal Clean to 8 Parts Water (2 Cups to 1 Gallon) Heavy Soiling (Non-Staining) - 1 Part Crystal Clean to 4 Parts Water (4 Cups to 1 Gallon)
Before applying any moisture to your flooring, always ensure all dust, dirt, and other dry contaminates are completely removed from the surface. This may be accomplished by sweeping or using the vacuum. This is important for two reasons:
- Dust, dirt, and other dry contaminates mix with the cleaning solution and become deposited in the grout lines. - Dry surface contaminates have an abrasive effect on the floor surface, and over time will degrade the finish.
Please be careful if using a vacuum cleaner as the wheels or attachments may scratch the surface. After removing dry surface contaminates as described above, the floor should be damp moped using the sponge mop. The object of the process is to keep as much standing cleaning solution as possible off the floor and out of the grout lines.
Damp moping instructions are as follows: A. Ensure you have removed all dry surface contaminates, as described above. B. Mix Crystal Clean Concentrate with cold tap water per the recommended dilution rate, above. C. Dip the mop head into the Crystal Clean mixture and wring it completely out. D. Damp mop a section of the floor or surface area and check the mop head for dirt. E. When the mop head is dirty, rinse it in clean water. NOTE: DO NOT RINSE THE CRYSTAL CLEAN SOLUTION FROM THE FLOOR! YOU WILL VOID ALL THE BENEFITS OF USING IT. F. Repeat Items C-E until complete.
For Use as A Spray Cleaner for Counters, Showers, Etc.
