• Completely Neutral, Non Chelated - Crystal Clean does not contain acids, alkalines, or chelates.  It is a perfect -7 pH neutral granite cleaner that will not change the appearance of your stone, even with daily use. Clean granite quickly and easily.
• Dries Three Times Faster than Water  - Crystal Clean contains two evaporating agents that make it dry three times faster than plain water or other stone cleaners.  Crystal Clean is a truly streak-free granite cleaner.
• Reinforces the Seal With Each Use - Crystal Clean contains a small amount of the same fluoropolymer granite sealer (impregnator) found in Ultimate Pro Granite Sealer (Impregnator).  Every time you use it on your granite countertops and accents, you are strengthening your stone's ability to resist water penetration and staining from both water and oil-based substances. Clean granite and reinforce the seal in one easy step.

Despite the many similarities, they are very different chemically and are not compatible with each other - so if you are currently using one or the other, do not change!  For those of you that are new customers, the following information will help you decide which product to pick:

• Advantages & Disadvantages of GranQuartz 113M -  GQ 113M granite polish / protectant provides better appearance on light-to medium colored granite surfaces. It provides slightly less protection against water spotting.  Stainless steel performance is on-par with Stone Pro Finishing Touch.  Not for use on glass. It does not clean as well as Finishing Touch (especially oily substances), nor is it as effective in suppressing fingerprinting. It is USDA and NSF approved, and is the top recommended product by granite fabricators, nation-wide.
• Advantages & Disadvantages of Stone Pro Finishing Touch -  Finishing Touch granite polish / protectant provides better appearance on medium-dark to dark colored granite surfaces. It provides slightly better protection against fingerprinting and water spotting.  Stainless steel performance is on-par with GQ 113M.  It cleans better than GQ 113M (especially oily substances). It is not USDA or NSF approved, yet its chemical composition is "greener" than that of GQ 113M. Very effective on glass and can be used to reduce waterspotting on troublesome glass surfaces.
  

1.) Remove any particulate or solid matter (crumbs, coffee grounds, etc.) from the stone surface.

2.) Set the nozzle on the Crystal Clean Ready-to-Use Bottle to the "Spray" position and mist the granite surface completely.

3.) Wipe the surface dry with one of the MicroFiber towels included in your kit.  This will ensure the surface is completely clean prior to applying the impregnator.  Please note this MicroFiber towel can be washed & reused.

3.) Allow the stone a minimum of 15 minutes to dry. 

4. ) Put on chemical resistant gloves.

5.) Shake well, open, and pour a small amount of Ultimate Pro Impregnator onto the surface.

6.) Spread a thin, even coat of Ultimate Pro using the solvent-resistant applicator included in your kit. Please note this applicator is re-usable!  Simply allow it to dry completely, then store it away for the next time.

7.) Allow the impregnator to remain on the surface for 5 minutes if your stone has been recently sealed, 10 minutes if it is a new installation or has been 12 months (or longer) since your last sealing. If any surface area becomes dry during the wait time, evenly apply additional impregnator in a thin coat.

8.) After the appropriate time has elapsed, wipe ALL remaining Ultimate Pro from the surface with a clean MicroFiber towel. DO NOT ALLOW ULTIMATE PRO TO DRY ON THE SURFACE OF THE STONE - REMOVE ALL RESIDUE!  Dispose of this MicroFiber Towel.

9.) Keep stone water and oil-free for 12 Hours.

10.) On the following day (or after 12 hours), spray a LIGHT misting of the GranQuartz 113M or Stone Pro Finishing Touch Granite Revitalizer provided in your kit onto the surface and buff it out immediately with a MicroFiber towel.  This will add a gloss to the stone and will help ward off fingerprinting and water spots.

For daily or routine cleaning, use the Crystal Clean Spray as described above.  For "vanity" cleaning and polishing, use the GranQuartz 113M or Stone Pro Finishing Touch spray to enhance the appearance. 

Please note that both 113M and Finishing Touch spray are also FANTASTIC on stainless steel appliances. 

Re-apply the impregnator once every 12-18 months or if you notice a significant decrease in water repellency.
